"Provoking the Lord"
I Kings 16:1-34
Series: Kings of the Kingdom
Speaker: Pastor Neil Travisano
Listen: MP3 Description
In last week's message we saw how the Lord looks for those He can strongly support. This week we'll see the direct opposite. Five times we see the phrase, "...provoking the Lord to anger." Six kings of the Northern Kingdom are reviewed and they had the same response from the Lord.
If the Lord knows our frame and that we are but dust, why then is the Lord provoked so by sin? The story of these kings will help us understand this, so that we can make an application to our own lives.

"The Eyes of the Lord"
I Kings 15:1-34
Series: Kings of the Kingdom
Speaker: Pastor Neil Travisano
Listen: MP3 Description
In II Chronicles 16:9 it is written, "For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He might strongly support those whose heart is completely His."
The question would be, "What are some indications that our hearts are completely His?" In this chapter we find three of these illustrated by three kings: Abijam, Asa and Baasha. Let's consider their stories in light of what kind of life we are living.
